The Netflix dating series Too Hot to Handle has been one of the top shows on the daily charts ever since its release last week and fans are loving the beautiful location where it was filmed
The show’s creator Laura Gibson is opening up about finding the location and the requirements that Netflix had for what it would look like.
“We literally scoured the world,” she told OprahMag.com. “We went everywhere. There was a really high bar—and this was the one.”
“The executives were like, ‘Show us the place where the A-list of the world could only afford to go,’” she added.
Well, they found the right location in Punta Mita, a private peninsula on the southwest coast of Mexico. The show was filmed at a private villa there called Casa Tau, which you can rent for $15,660 a night.
On TripAdvisor, you can rent the villa and it’s listed as having 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, and being big enough for 26 people to stay there.
