Quibi, the new streaming service featuring short content, had 1.7 million downloads during its first week.
CEO Meg Whitman made the announcement, THR reports, and said that global social distancing “didn’t hurt us at all.”
The app currently has an extended 90-day free trial. After that period, the app will cost will cost $5 with advertising and $8 without advertising.
Some shows include Chrissy’s Court, starring Chrissy Teigen, Flipped starring Will Forte and Kaitlin Olson, a reboot of Punk’d, and more.
