The NBA is looking to reopen practice facilities for some teams, ESPN is reporting.
The report says that the league has plans to reopen some facilities starting on Friday, May 2 for locations where stay at home orders have been lifted and restrictions are easing.
ESPN says that these practices are not mandatory and “official” practices are not permitted.
Earlier in the month, ESPN reported that the NBA had been exploring a plan to restart the season as restrictions loosened up around the country and it’s called the “Back to Basketball” plan.
