Scott Disick has checked out of rehab just hours after it was reported that he had entered a facility to be treated for substance abuse issues.
The 36-year-old reality star checked into All Points North Lodge in Colorado last Tuesday and a photo of him inside the facility was leaked online by Daily Mail.
Scott‘s lawyer told TMZ that he was not in the facility for alcohol and cocaine, which the outlet reported. He really was there to deal with the pain of losing his parents within months of each other.
“In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas,” his lawyer said.
It is believed that the photo of Scott inside the facility was taken by an employee and the lawyer said this “could trigger criminal prosecution” if it’s true.
Scott is now en route back to Los Angeles after checking out of the facility.
