Rupert Grint is giving a healthcare worker one of the best surprises ever!
The 31-year-old Harry Potter actor appeared during the One World: Together at Home special in the United Kingdom on Sunday (April 19) to show his appreciation for Sam Halliwell, a midwife working on the frontlines of the health crisis at Birmingham Women’s Hospital in England.
“Hearing your story is just insane,” Rupert told Sam via video chat, according to Metro. “The sacrifices that you make is truly inspiring. It’s very Gryffindor behavior. Thank you so much.”
Sam has been self-isolating at a local hotel during the pandemic so that she doesn’t risk getting her immunocompromised husband at home sick.
Rupert‘s comments come just a few days after it was confirmed that he and longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome are expecting their first child!
