The NBA reportedly has a 25-day plan to restart the current playing season, which was suspended due to coronavirus.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst shared that the league has a plan in place when the country starts to re-open after the coronavirus has been managed and eradicated.

The “Back-To-Basketball” plan consists of 11 days of individual workouts, then teams would then come together for a 14-day training camp.

“In talking to executives and trainers around the league, what they’re looking at is a 25-day return to basketball window,” Brian said on ESPN on Sunday. “An 11-day series of individual workouts. …and then hopefully, if the clearance comes that they can play five-on-five basketball, a 14-day training camp.”

He added, “So as you hope for the country to heal and the virus to get better, look for at least about a three-and-a-half to four-week return date before you’d ever get back to games.”

The NBA suspended the season in early March after there was an outbreak of the virus on the Utah Jazz team.
