Actor Jason Davis‘ cause of death has been released after his sudden death earlier this year.
The 35-year-old died from the “effects of fentanyl,” and his death was ruled an accident, TMZ reports. If you don’t know, Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid pain reliever, approved for treating severe pain, typically advanced cancer pain, the CDC reports.
Jason is best known for voicing Mikey Blumberg on Disney Chanel’s animated series Recess from 1997-2001.
Jason had battled addiction, and he was the co-founder of a charity called Cure Addiction Now.
