Nick Cordero‘s wife Amanda Kloots has been updating the world every day on his condition amid his battle with coronavirus and she has some good news to share.
The 41-year-old Broadway actor has been fighting for his life in the hospital and he had to be resuscitated over the weekend as his condition worsened.
On Wednesday morning (April 15), Amanda took to her Instagram Stories and shared this update: “Update on Nick: His blood pressure is better! Dialysis is working. They’ve been able to drain fluids to help inflammation. We need him to wake up. They need to see him follow commands. Also his right foot is not showing a pulse but the wound looks better. Breathing is a bit fast this morning.”
Later in the day, Amanda returned to Instagram for a video update.
“I’m just going to share some really, really good news that we just got about Nick. His heart and lungs are getting stronger,” she said. “They’re weaning him off the ECMO machine in hopes that tomorrow morning, he will be able to have surgery to take the ECMO machine out. This would mean that his heart and lungs would be running on their own. Big win! We still need him to wake up and we’re gonna keep pushing for that, and singing and dancing. Guys, it’s a small win in the right direction for our Nick.”
Every day at 6pm EST / 3pm PST, Amanda has been encouraging friends, family, and fans to dance and sing to show their support for Nick.
The other day, Amanda shared the romantic story about how Nick won her heart during a break from their relationship.
