Congrats are in order for Melissa Rauch and her husband, Winston Beigel – they’ve welcomed a new baby to their family!
The 39-year-old Big Bang Theory actress shared the happy news about her new baby’s arrival on Instagram.
“I am incredibly thankful and overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Brooks Rauch, who we just welcomed into the world and directly into our hearts,” Melissa wrote on her Instagram, snapping a pic of the baby’s adorable beanie with his name stitched on it.
She continued, “His arrival was made possible, in no small part, by the front line heroes — the nurses and doctors who show up each day to make sure that life keeps marching forward, regardless of the circumstances.”
“Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have this baby boy join our family, but to say that it is a surreal time to be bringing life into the world is an understatement.”
In an essay for Glamour, Melissa opened up about not having Winston in the delivery room with her – not because of a rule that barred him from being there, but because there was no one else to watch their daughter, Sadie, during it.
“I tried my best to hold on to that as I said goodbyes to my husband and daughter and walked myself into the hospital, masked up, clumsily balancing my bags and birthing ball like I was doing a knocked-up Mr. Bean bit,” she wrote.
