Disney Parks – including Disney World, Disney Land and more – are unfortunately probably going to stay closed until 2021.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that UBS, a Swiss bank, has told its clients that Disney will likely wait until January 1 to reopen the North American parks.
“Moreover, we now believe the lingering effects of the outbreak — including crowd avoidance, new health precautions, etc. — will dramatically reduce the profitability of these businesses even after they’ve reopened until a vaccine is widely available,” the report that was released, stated.
While Disney has not announced the length of the closure, the company did announce that the parks were closed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic at the end of March.
