Ashley Mattingly, a former Playboy playmate, has tragically died by suicide at the young age of 33.
She died on Wednesday (April 15) at her home in Austin, Texas. A wellness check was done on Friday (April 17) to check on her, and she was found by the police, her family tells TMZ. She did leave a suicide note.
Her family told TMZ she had been living in Austin for two years and had been “struggling with substance abuse.” Her family added that the shelter-in-place order was not easy for her.
She was Playboy‘s Miss March in 2011. Ashley became the subject of a court case when her boyfriend in 2012, Lane Garrison was arrested of misdemeanor domestic battery after allegedly slapping her during an argument.
